Councillors Misconduct No Surprise

F.A.I.R. welcomes the decision of the Northern Ireland Local Government Audit Office announced today Tuesday 24th October 2005 in which it condemns and finds against the decision of the Twelve(12) Sinn Fein and Five (5) S.D.L.P. Councillors of Newry and Mourne District Council who refused and denied F.A.I.R. the use of Newtownhamilton Community Centre.

F.A.I.R. would now anticipate that after due process that these representatives will be disqualified from office.

This decision highlights the bigotry of these elected representatives and clearly demonstrates the contempt in which they hold the families and representatives of innocent victims of terrorism and also asks the question, how can the Unionist Community of Newry & Mourne ever expect to receive equality of treatment from such a conceited and biased group of people.
