23.04.07 (2) It is with utter and total disgust that we see Sinn Fein members sitting on the Policing Board, but it is with no surprise that we see it happen. This is only the start of terrorists involved in our policing. The next step is to put on the police uniform and throw the balaclava in the cupboard. Shame on anyone who sits beside these people, to discuss the future of policing. These people still hold the right to use violence in the name of a United Ireland and that is probably one of the reasons why we don’t see victims sitting on any of these panels, from policing boards right through to Human Right Boards. It would seem the innocent victims are expendable. We will oppose this at every step of the way because by accepting or even supporting this, it legitimises thirty years of violence, which included genocide, torture and mass murder.
