FAIR Challenges Adams

On Thursday 22nd September 2005 a FAIR delegation led by William Frazer travelled to a 3.2 million government funded building in Mullaghbawn, heartland of terrorism in South Armagh. The delegation also included a retired police officer who still carries the bullets placed in him by the IRA in a cowardly murder bid. The purpose was to confront Gerry Adams of IRA/Sinn Fein who was present to glorify the murder campaign by the South Armagh IRA.

It was obvious that Adams was not used to being confronted and reminded of moral decency as he entered the premises by a back door. The FAIR party was asked to leave on several occasions but politely refused. Had the media not been present we may have seen the true face of republicanism emerge with deploying of bullyboy tactics.

A lot of familiar faces were present at the event and the police, if allowed by their political masters, could have detained a number of 'on the runs' still wanted for murder and other serious crimes. Obviously this is all part of the recent political deals to allow these men to return home.

Again FAIR would like to assure all terrorists that innocent victims will not give up the fight for Justice. No matter where they are or how many of them there is we will always be there to confront them.
