Another Victims Quango

It’s with utter and total disgust that the victims see another quango set up to look into how to deal with Victims past. With the greatest respect to the men they have chosen, what do they really know about the conflict? How many of them were stuck in the middle of it being shot at, or having terrorists trying to blow them up on a continual basis.

There is no doubt that the Bloody Sunday, Rosemary Nelson and Pat Finucuin Enquiries plus others bring very little closure at great expense, but groups like ourselves are sick & tired of telling the politicians what we need to move on in Northern Ireland, doing submission after submission to all the different quangos. Whatever size of shelf they set these on it must be big because all they seem to do is throw them onto the shelf and forget about them.

We want to send a clear message to these quangos and government to not even consider trying to enforce a political arrangement that suits them onto the victims.

We continually ask the government for resources that the victims need to deal with the past.

ITS TIME THAT THEY PUT UP OR SHUT UP!
