JUSTICE AGAIN DENIED

It was expected and unfortunately came as no surprise the verdict in the Omagh bomb trial against SEAN HOEY.

The number of ex security force members who served in South Armagh knowing Hoey’s pedigree were not surprised when he was first charged with the bloody barbaric massacre in Omagh.

We as a victims group support the people of Omagh in their fight to get justice and we encourage them not to give up as it is only when they get justice will they get closure. We have been campaigning for a thorough investigation of the Kingsmills massacre and after almost 32 years we hope to get a proper investigation.

It is not surprising that names such as Michael McKevitt and others who are linked with the barbaric massacre at Kingsmills and the barbaric massacre at Omagh when the IRA were on a so called ceasefire.

When some of the families make statements like “a new climate – the new climate is appeasement, there is no justice in this country” and “police have proved his innocence, there is no justice for victims” you have to ask your self ‘Who are the police/security services protecting’.

We call on the police ombudsman’s office to investigate the handling by the PSNI of this case, why was there no charges of directing terrorism? To allow policemen to remain in post and probably reward them with promotion when in the words of the trial judge “were guilty of a deliberate and calculated deception”

We the innocent victims of terrorism will continue our campaign to have these murderous crazy animals put behind bars where they belong before they reach the ‘FINAL COURT OF JUSTICE’.
