FARC Truth Exposed!

While watching the RTE programme last night, the truth surrounding the IRA and the FARC in Colombia finally came out in the public domain. Although everyone knew that IRA men were training the FARC, this was the first time that it was directly put to Gerry Adams in an interview. Michael McDowell directly said that the IRA army council sent those IRA men to Colombia to train the FARC and in return, the Colombian drug barons gave the IRA $25 million.

Michael McDowell is the minister for security in the Republic of Ireland, so the questions he asked were factual and not just hearsay. The fact that he knows of this issue and was willing to challenge Adams over the Colombian saga, presents more questions that need to be asked. Firstly, where did all the $25 million go to? Secondly, if the Southern government knew the details of this case (as it obvious they do know), then why did the South harbour these IRA terrorists?

FAIR are to meet Irish government officials today, but questions like the ones above are never answered or addressed, even though FAIR asks for answers time after time. To date they have refused to address this issue. There has also been a wall of silence over other issues like collusion.

Also, it is no longer necessary to go to Dublin to meet these Irish government officials, as they now have their own place in Belfast!
