Irish Government to meet FAIR

Today, Thursday 11th October 2007 the Irish Government minister for Foreign Affairs Mr Dermot Ahern will be meeting with Mr William Frazer, Director of the victims group FAIR, Mr Jeffrey Donaldson MP, MLA and a number of representatives from the LOVE ULSTER organisation.

Among the topics to be discussed at to-days meeting will be the forthcoming Love Ulster rally in Dublin, the last parade which ended in violence when Republicans attacked the Garda. The security of the minority Unionist population living along the border in South Armagh is also on the agenda.

This meeting to-day at 3pm will be taking place at the Ballymascanlon Hotel, Dundalk.
