Victims not a 'Peace' priority

Once again the innocent victims have been kicked in the teeth by another insensitive Labour minister. Following the interim report published by the Northern Ireland Affairs Committee last week which makes valuable and positive recommendations regarding the victim sector and has produced some clear sighted and unbiased observations, we have heard that Ian Pearson MP, the direct rule security minister in Northern Ireland has stated to Jim Allister MEP that under peace funding, victims are not a priority although of course they do feature an there are victim specific measures. This of course wholly undermines the content of the report.

How can they possibly describe this funding as 'peace' when those affected most are sidelined. Meanwhile of course, Provie PLC in south Armagh is allowed to run freely without the interference of law and order agencies. Not content with the government are looking at ways of throwing extra cash at them while they trample over the graves of those they murdered.

We call on the government to react to the Northern Ireland Affairs Committee report, or will they just ignore it like they have done victims in general? Is this British justice? Peace, peace when there is no peace. As long as they keep paying the terrorist they think they have gone away - fools.
