'Black Propaganda' Campaign?

It has come to the attention of FAIR, through reliable sources within the security services and Northern Ireland Office, that a 'black' operation to discredit FAIR Director William Frazer has been planned by Government Mandarins. In light of the recent 'Nazi' rantings of Father Alec Reid and the suspension of Councillors in Newry and Mourne, it is obvious that Mr Frazers stance on Victims Rights is a thorn in the side for Government appeasement plans.

Mr Frazer states "this is not an unexpected development. The threat of this sort of action has been held over my head for some time by Government. However I refuse to be threatened into silence by the Terrorists themselves or those in Political Office. I will not allow Government to discredit me, the group I work for or the victims I represent".

"The current Labour administration has trampled over the memories of our loved ones in their pursuit of peace, now they aim to further attack those left behind by seeking to destroy the support networks and vocal avenues available to them. Membership of FAIR has swelled in recent months as our profile as a group 'fighting for victims' has risen further.

Disinformation and 'black' propaganda has often been used to divide and discredit by the British Government with military units in Army HQ, Lisburn pioneering the methods commonly used throughout the height of the troubles. This has caused difficulties for many innocents who stood in the way of Government Policy. Victims will not be used as a political football - our voice will be heard - justice will be done.
